Each year the Foundation sets aside substantial funds for Bursaries and Scholarships to support parents financially. Around 30% of pupils at the CSF schools receive some form of financial support.
Scholarships are offered to pupils who excel in a particular area of school life. Scholarships can be academic, sporting or musical. Pupils are assessed on merit and the competition is always strong. Full details of the scholarships available are given on each school’s website. Scholarships are not means-tested, but they can be combined with Bursaries.
Bursaries are means-tested. They are offered to pupils whose parents can contribute to fees, but who are unable to meet the full fees. Parents are required to submit detailed financial accounts to show income and expenditure. Bursaries may be combined with Scholarships for bright pupils whose parents cannot afford full fees. Further details of Bursaries are available on each school’s website.
